SABIKI FISHING
HOW TO FISH

POINT

Harbors and embankments close by are the most common places to fish. It's ok to search for a point close to you (directly under the embankment etc.), but if your point is further out you will need to cast a long distance.

CASTING TARGET & ATTRACTANT

Both the method of fishing and type of fish you can catch are different depending on whether you're fishing in a shallow range or a deep range. After deciding on which range to fish at, you should first cast a lot of attractant bait to attract the fish. You can also increase your chances of catching fish if you target fish in the morning and at dusk.

(1)Drop the rig as far as the sea bottom.
(2)Move the rod up and down to release the attractant bait from the basket.
(3)Lift the rig so that the SABIKI enters the cloud created by the attractant bait and wait for a bite.

When the fishing point is far away, it is better to attach a float to the SABIKI rig so you can cast it further. After the rig enters the water, strongly jerk the rod a few times to release the attractant bait and attract the fish. Larger fish are generally in the deeper areas of the sea, so a lot of experienced fishing enthusiasts cast the rig a longer distance.
